Hello, my name is Clara Raurich (they/them) and I’m an illustrator from Barcelona, Spain.
I started drawing when I was a kid and never stopped.
I’ve always enjoyed making things with my hands and that led me to make plushies and dolls for several years, under the name Pussie Toys.
In 2023, Sleepy Worm Studio was born. A project that made me discover I love paper and with which I’m exploring how to make products that invite you to play and be creative.
I like to see drawing as a playful process, to create characters that make you laugh and warm your heart and I’d love to tell stories with them.
My education is based on my experimentation creating, my passion for art and everything I’ve been absorbing by listening to and observing other artists and the Children’s Book Illustration course that I’m currently taking at Escola Joso.
I want to keep playing and learning.
